Crossroads Urban Center is a nonprofit, grassroots organization that assists and organizes Utahns with low incomes, those with disabilities, and people of color to meet basic survival needs and to address essential issues affecting quality of life. Established in 1966, Crossroads is a multi-faith, community based project that is in a covenant relationship with the United Women in Faith national office.
Our three locations include two food pantries and a thrift store. We serve hundreds of households every week, providing canned foods, baby formula, hygiene supplies, clothes, sleeping bags, and more. We depend on your generosity to meet these high demands. There are many ways you can support us including money donations, supply donations, or volunteering.
Crossroads Urban Center facilitates political advocacy groups that bring together community members interested in working towards a system that aligns with the needs of the people. Our political advocacy groups (listed below) create space for voices often left out to be actively part of the political process. These community groups work with political leaders to make policies that are inclusive and support people in their fight to escape poverty.
