What’s the Regents’ Scholarship?
The Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) administers the Regents’ Scholarship, which encourages high school students to take a college-prep curriculum above and beyond the Utah high school graduation requirements. This merit-based scholarship is awarded to students who take the right courses during grades 9-12, earn the right grades, submit their ACT score, and complete the application. The Regents’ Scholarship can be used at any Utah public or private nonprofit university.

The Utah Scholars program was created to help students in high school take the right classes to get to college, keep their grades up, and help students be more prepared to qualify for scholarships.
What’s a The New Century Scholarship?
The New Century Scholarship encourages Utah high school students to accelerate their education by earning an associate degree in high school from an institution within the Utah System of Higher Education or completing a specific math and science curriculum. The scholarship may be used at any four-year public college or university in the Utah System of Higher Education, as well as at Brigham Young University—Provo, and Westminster College.
